| Course Prerequisites

Learners should complete "HACCP Food Safety Level 1" training prior to completing "HACCP Food Safety Level 2". We have included a free Level 1 course that can be completed prior to completed Level 2. If you have completed Level 1 in the past you can repeat it here as a refreshers or skip the content and go directly to a multiple choice test to check your knowledge. However, you must completed the test successfully to move on to Level 2. 

This HACCP Food Safety Level 2 course is delivered in English, a good understanding of written and oral English will be necessary to complete this training. 

This course includes "Closed Captions" which are ideal for learners with hearing difficulties. They are also a great aid for an employee whose first language is not English but has a good grasp of the language.

How long does Food Safety Level 2 training take to complete?

HACCP Food Safety Level 2 training typically takes 90 minutes to complete, we have included an optional  level 1 refresher course that you can also complete this also takes about 90 minutes. However, you can take as long as needed. You can take in the information in bite size pieces by leaving and returning to the course. You can always return to the last module you completed and resume from where you left off.

Do I need to complete level 1 food safety training before I complete Level 2?

The long answer is no. If you can demonstrate sufficient knowledge or experience you can skip level 1 training. We have included a Level 1 course free of charge to help refresh your knowledge. However, you will need to pass a knowledge test before you move on and complete your level 2.

How often should Food Safety Level 2 training be refreshed?

HACCP Food Safety Level 2 training should be refreshed regularly to ensure that individuals remain up-to-date with best practices and any changes in food safety regulations. While there is no set frequency for refreshing this training, it is advisable to undergo a refresher course every few years or as recommended by the employer or regulatory authorities.
